about me

I am a Southern California native that recently moved back from Jackson, Wyoming where I worked as a post-production intern for the production company Teton Gravity Research. I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2006 majoring in video editing for television and commercials.  While there I also had the opportunity to work on a few short films and hone my editing skills in the process.  After school, I began to teach video editing using Final Cut Pro at a local learning resource center for both beginning and intermediate users.  After two years of teaching, I took a job as a lead video editor at Lynda.com where I managed a team of editors and made sure deadlines were met and a quality product was delivered.  While there, I also helped to create a motion graphics department to help meet the growing needs of the company and created a new workflow for video compression

for web delivery.  From there, I took on some freelance projects and eventually decided to take on an internship out of state to further my knowledge of the industry and the craft I love. I have extensive knowledge in Final Cut Studio including, Apple Compressor, Cinema Tools, Apple Motion, DVD Studio Pro and Apple Color. Other programs include Adobe After Effect and Adobe Photoshop for both motion graphics and my other passion, still photography. Whenever I have a chance to grab my camera, I jump at the opportunity to go out take stills. Film or digital, it doesn’t matter. I am a passionate individual that loves what I do and always looks forward to the next project to come along.
